DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Food Pantry and Sharing Center is growing and is looking for donations of goods, services and money to help with an expansion.
The pantry now provides more than just food for those in need, the Rev. Ken Hinkley, pastor of Dixfield Common Baptist Church said in a news release. The food pantry is at the church, 2 Chapel Road.
Donations of household goods and small appliances are accepted to be shared with those who need them.
“Because of crowded space, we are planning to add another section to the back of our building,” he said. “This will make for a more efficient work environment as well as provide much needed storage space.”
