BETHEL — Have you ever viewed the moon through a telescope? If not, here’s your chance. The Mahoosuc Land Trust will host a sky-viewing event Saturday, Oct. 28 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Valentine Conservation Center 162 North Road Star-lover Tom Hoffelder will guide participants in discovering the wonders of the night sky. This should be a good opportunity to see the first-quarter moon, the rise of Saturn, and a sky full of stars.
Telescopes will be available for use, or you may bring your own. If the night is cloudy, Hoffelder will give an indoor presentation. The center is located .8 miles from the intersection of North Road and Route 2, beyond the cemetery.
