WATERVILLE — Therapy dog friends from Kennebec Valley Love on a Leash will be visiting the Waterville Public Library, 73 Elm St., for read-aloud time Tuesdays, Oct. 24 and Nov. 28, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
This is an opportunity for children to practice their reading skills, and for their families looking for a fun, calming, read-aloud activity.
Children get to spend 15 minutes with a dog who loves to listen. Participants may bring their own favorite book or borrow one from our shelves.
Reservations are strongly encouraged. Spaces are limited; to reserve a slot, call 207-680-2604 or stop by the Children’s Desk at the Waterville Public Library. Readers and dogs will meet in the Colby Program Room on the lower level.
