AUGUSTA – Ginny Todd, the longtime children’s librarian Rumford Public Library, was recognized by Sen. Lisa Keim, R-Oxford, at the Maine Senate on Thursday, May 25. Keim presented Todd a Legislative Sentiment recognizing her retirement after 32 years. Todd’s family was present at the ceremony.
“Ginny started out as a part-time assistant at the library and eventually became the full-time children’s librarian,” Keim said. “Some of the activities she planned for the kids included theater productions, story times and many other fun and creative activities. She has been a special role model to all the kids who have visited her at the library over the years. I wish her a joyous retirement.”
