AUGUSTA- Pastor Carol Stevens, of Rumford, served as Pastor of the Day at the State House on Tuesday, May 9, delivering the opening prayer in the Maine Senate. Stevens serves the congregation at Rumford United Methodist Church. “It was an absolute pleasure to have Pastor Stevens join us to start our session with her thoughts and prayers,” said Senator Lisa Keim, R-Oxford. “Carol and I are longtime friends and her willingness to participate in our Senate session was a blessing to me.” (Submitted photo)
