BETHEL — Find out whether that splash of color is a yellow-throated warbler or a wood sorrel blossom and enjoy seeing nature come alive on the second annual Birds and Blooms hike, offered by the Mahoosuc Land Trust.
This year’s easy walk will begin at 8 a.m., Saturday, May 29, and take place at the Valentine Farm Conservation Center, 162 North Road. Lynne Zimmerman and Emily Ecker will team up to guide walkers in appreciating the visual and sweet-sounding beauties of late spring on a property that offers both wooded and wetland habitats.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring drinking water.
