JAY — The Western Maine Audubon Chapter will be holding a “Bird Walk” at French Falls Recreation Area Sat., April 15, from 7 to 9 a.m.
The event is free and open to all ages. Participants will meet at the kiosk/trail arch at 7 a.m. Steve Bien will lead the walk. Participants should bring binoculars and bird guides, if available, although not required. Walks usually last about two hours and are held rain or shine; dress accordingly.
All birder’s eyes and ears are welcome. The French Falls Recreational Area is located at the end of French Falls Lane across from Spruce Mountain Middle School, 23 Community Dr.
