WATERVILLE – The Waterville Police and Fire Departments competed recently in the 9th annual Battle of the Badges baskeball tournament. The teams were tied with four wins apiece going into the tournament final, and the police won to bring the gold ball back to their department until next year.
The event helps support the South End Teen Center, which is a drop in center for teens allowing them a safe comfortable environment to do homework and participate in extra curricular activities. (Photo by Missy Brown/ Central Maine Photography.)
