Durham prepares for town elections, April 1 meeting

 DURHAM — The town will hold an informational meeting on the town warrant at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 16, at the Eureka Center, 606 Hallowell Road.

The municipal election is Friday, March 31, and Town Meeting is Saturday, April 1.
Polls are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the municipal election, and absentee voting is ongoing at the Town Office during regular business hours. Cutoff for absentee voting is Monday, March 27.
Town Meeting begins at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 1, at Durham Community School, 654 Hallowell Road, where a 42-warrant article will be voted on by residents. Town reports will be available at the polls and at the meeting. Town officials ask that Durham residents limit town reports to one per family.
