SMITHFIELD — The town of Smithfield has announced, “Our facility has just been made a Somerset County ‘Mug Up’ senior gathering place. We are having a Christmas social that is open to our citizens.” Details about the event show that the Christmas holiday social will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the municipal building, 926 Village Road, Smithfield.
