Part-time Newspaper Paginator/Designer needed at Turner Publishing, Inc.

TURNER – Turner Publishing, Inc. is a growing company that produces 17 or more publications each month. Our page counts are increasing as is the number of our papers published each month. To remain efficient, we seek a part-time employee with newspaper or magazine pagination experience. Ideally, the person filling this position will also have graphic design and ad design skills and will be able to serve as back-up for our production team as needed.

This is not a work-from-home position. We are located at 5 Fern Street in Turner.

Skills needed for this position:

Pagination/typesetting skills.

Graphic design/ad design skills.

Great customer service and computer skills.

Good typing and basic math skills.

Ability to work in a deadline oriented atmosphere

Experience with Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Distiller, Acrobat Pro.

Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of AP Style.

Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.

Ability to work well on your own.

Here’s What You Need:

High school diploma required.

Associates Degree or similar experience.
