BRIDGTON – The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club will host its next Community Kettle on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Bridgton Community Center.

Rotarians, along with family and friends, will shop, cook, serve, and clean up. The menu features a pasta bake, fresh Caesar salad, and a surprise dessert.
Club President Dr. Lisa Ryan shared, “A recent speaker, Chris Gillespie—founder of the SAD 72 backpack program—reminded us how vital programs like the Kettle are. They offer not just healthy food, but connection. Many in our community face isolation, and this meal brings people together.”
She added, “We see familiar faces each month enjoying a free, nutritious meal. Those who can leave a donation to help support the Bridgton Community Center directly.”
The Rotary Club is committed to addressing food insecurity. “As I begin my second term,” said Dr. Ryan, “I’m proud we’re continuing our partnership with the BCC. We hope to host up to six Kettles this year.”
