WPL’s ‘Maker Mondays’ July schedule announced

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has announced its Maker Monday schedule for July. These events are held weekly in the Bartlett Room for Teens from 3 to 4 p.m. Teens are invited every Monday to “make something amazing.” Each week the library provides the supplies, and all teens need to do is provide the creativity.

* July 3 — Recycled Ship Making Challenge — Take part in a ship-building challenge and turn everyday materials into a miniature ship! Discover what materials work best, and see if your masterpiece will float.
* July 10 — Book Quotes that Rock — Decorate a rock with your favorite quotes, and show off your favorite fandom.
* July 17 — Collage Poems — Express yourself! Learn how to use worn out books and magazines to create unique poems.
* July 24 — Duct Tape Beads — Learn how to make custom jewelry out of duct tape.

All programs are free and open to attendees ages 18 and under.
