Governor Janet Mills Orders Flags Lowered in Honor of Victims of Allen, Texas Tragedy

Augusta, MAINE – Consistent with a directive of the President, Governor Janet Mills has ordered that the United States and the State of Maine flags be lowered immediately to half-staff statewide through sunset on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in honor of the victims of acts of violence perpetrated yesterday in Allen, Texas.
