MADISON — You get to be the jury at “The Court of Final Reckoning,” a serio/comedic play written by Athens playwright Anna Freeman. Humor and gravity abound in this imaginative and witty satire as six defendants, who have been charged with committing one of the “seven deadly sins,” stand before Judge Clancy Peter to plead for mercy as to their eternal destinations.
The doors to the courtroom will open at 7:15 p.m., and the first 12 spectators to enter the “courtroom” will be invited to sit on the jury. Performances will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and July 1, at East Madison Square Gardens, 88 Tupper Road, off Bagley Road in East Madison.
Donations to witness this judicial spectacle are $10 per person and $15 for two. For more information, call 207-654-2664.
