AUBURN – Community Credit Union is hosting its annual Community Recycle Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 15, in honor of Earth Day, which is April 22.
The event is at the credit union, 40 Stanley St.
Local community partners are joining forces to offer the community a convenient and free way to recycle items such as:
• Documents to be shredded, by Shredding on Site;
• Tires, by Stratham Tire;
• New or gently used and clean reusable resources (art supplies, craft materials, school and business supplies, home furnishings, sports equipment, and more) for SHAREcenter;
• TVs, monitors, computers, laptops and printers (only these items, no other electronics) by North Coast Services.
And to donate:
• Non-perishable food for Kaydenz Kitchen;
• Cat litter, food, treats and toys for Kommunity Kritters;
• Bottle and can drive for SHAREcenter.
Community Recycle Day has been an annual event in Auburn since 2009. Those dropping off items don’t need to be a member of Community Credit Union to participate. Visit facebook.com/communitycreditunion for details and information.
