WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has announced the summer programming for the Teen Anime & Art Club’s activities. Already a fan or curious to know what it’s all about? Enjoy old and new favorites, plus snacks and socializing.
Each session will feature several episodes of a popular show. Summer programs get under way July 11 and conclude Aug. 22. They are all held in the Bartlett Room for Teens from 3 to 4 p.m. at the library, 73 Elm St. All programs are for teens 18 and younger. Art supplies and books will be available during the program for those who want to get creative while they watch!
July 11 — “Chi’s Sweet Home –_ _”One day, a small kitten named Chi is found by a young boy named Youhei and his mother. They bring her back to their house to live with them, but then decide to move to a new apartment to accommodate this new furry addition to the family. Chi, Youhei, and Youhei’s parents cherish their time together as they make new friends, good memories, and have fun times together.”
July 25 — “Cute Earth High Defense Club Love!” — _”_Why should girls get to have all the fun? These magical boys are here to save the world from the loveless… at least that’s what the pink wombat, who gives them their magical powers, wants them to do.”
Aug. 8 — “Sailor Moon Crystal” — “Based on Naoko Takeuchi’s legendary manga series, Sailor Moon Crystal retells the story of Sailor Moon as she searches for her fellow Sailor Guardians and the Legendary Silver Crystal to stop the dark forces of Queen Beryl.”
Aug. 22 — “Grimgar of Frantasy & Ash” — “When Haruhiro awakens, he’s in the dark surrounded by people who have no memory of where they came from or how they got there. As the darkness fades, a fantastic new world called ‘Grimgar’ appears before them, and their adventure begins — but first, they’ll have to choose their guild, class and special abilities.”
