BETHEL – Atrial fibrillation was the topic of Feb. 2’s free To Your Health presentation at Bethel Congregational Church.
Nearly 30 people attended to learn about symptoms and causes of A-Fib, early diagnosis, and recent advances in treatment. Dr. Daniel van Buren, a cardiologist at the New England Heart Institute at Androscoggin Valley Hospital was guest speaker.
To Your Health is a community service in collaboration with the Western Mountains Senior College, the Bethel Family Health Center and Maine School Administrative District 44 Adult and Continuing Education.
The next To Your Health event, “Tune up for Spring,” is 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Bethel Congregational Church. Topics will include health benefits of Tai Chi, healthy bones and the Joy of Music. The event is free and open to all ages.
