New Bethel Library Librarian Kelcy Boles spoke to the Bethel Rotary Club Jan. 24, describing new programs and other changes she is implementing at the library. Boles, who has lived in Ireland and most recently in Hawaii, is very enthusiastic about joining the Bethel community and sharing her expertise to grow the library’s resources and offerings. She has a master’s degree in publishing. (below)
Craig Zurhorst, transportation representative for Western Maine Transportation Services, was a guest speaker at the Bethel Rotary Club in February. He updated the club on the status of the Mountain Explorer, the shuttle service that operates in the winter, transporting guests and the area’s workforce, between Bethel and Sunday River Resort.
