The Bethel Rotary Club has been busy supporting a variety of causes in the area.
Wade Kavanaugh, co-owner of The Gem Theater in Bethel, presents a $1,000 check to club President Jean Benedict, raised from two showings of The Polar Express to benefit Rotary’s Christmas for Children program. (above) Molly Pereira, a Telstar High School class of 2022 graduate, receives her educational assistance award from Rotarian Kevin Finley. Scholarships for graduating high school seniors, one of Rotary’s core programs, is funded through proceeds from the annual yard sale.
