BETHEL – Country Christmas in Bethel is Saturday, Dec. 3. The event is an opportunity to enjoy the village and lights, shop locally, meet Santa and more.

Breakfast with Santa will be from 8 a.m. to noon at Crescent Park School, 19 Crescent St. Santa arrives by fire truck at 8:30 a.m. and the event includes a book sale and silent auction.
The West Parish Congregational Church Christmas Tea and Fair will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church, 32 Church St. Crafts, tiny treasure and baked goodies are available downstairs in the dining room.
The Museums of the Bethel Historical Society historic 1813 Mason House, on Mason Street, will be decorated in traditional 19th century style and lit by candles, with holiday music and refreshments from 3 to 5 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
Free Horse-drawn wagon rides through the village 1 to 3 p.m., pickup corner of Church and Main streets, as well as on Saturday, Dec. 10 and 17.
