Six-week grief support groups start in October

WATERVILLE — Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area is offering two bereavement support groups getting underway in October.
The six-week Grieving Parent Support Group will be held Tuesdays, 6 to 7:30 p.m., starting Oct. 18. This group is for parents who have lost a child of any age. Group facilitators are trained volunteers; current CDC COVID 19 guidelines and recommendations will be followed for meetings.
The Partner Bereavement Support Group will meet Wednesdays, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. starting Oct. 19 for six weeks. This group is for spouses, significant others, widows/widowers who have lost their partner.
