MOFGA offering free information Sept. 7 about growing berries

UNITY — Daisy Beal of Daisychain Farm, in Belfast, and Seth Yentes, of North Branch Farm, in Monroe, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, for an online talk about growing berries, including raspberries, strawberries and high-bush blueberries.
The talk will cover site selection and preparation, types and varieties that work well for home growers, soil prep, pest and disease considerations, mulching and pruning. They’ll also discuss growing berries as the climate changes, including a question and answer session.
