OXFORD – The Oxford County Fair Education Day will be Wednesday, Sept. 14, facilitated by Oxford County Soil & Water Conservation District.
Activities for area youth will take place throughout the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with chaperones and area youth from schools, pre-schools and homeschooled students admitted free until 1:30 p.m. at the Oxford Fairgrounds,
The event will include educational stations set up, as well as fair favorites, such as the museum, animals and the mineral building. Families wishing to receive additional materials and a goody bag must register before Aug. 31 at bit.ly/OFEDRegister.
Other fair events on Education Day include:
Cattle Pull – 9:30 a.m.
4-H Horse Show – 10 a.m.
Oxen Demonstrations – 10 a.m.
Flying High Dog Show – 11:30 a.m.
The fair takes place from Sept. 14 through 17.
