BETHEL — The Rotary Club of Bethel’s annual multi-day yard sale is Tuesday, Aug. 2 to Monday, Aug. 8, on the lawn next to The Gem Theater, Cross Street. The sale begins at noon Aug. 2, and operates from dawn to dusk until Aug. 8.
The sale features five tents filled with furniture, outdoor recreation items, household wares, hardware, toys and thousands of other miscellaneous items.
Some items are priced, but most are not, with the policy to “take what you need, pay what you can.” All proceeds are invested back into the region, with the primary beneficiary post-secondary scholarships for graduating high school seniors.
Clothing is not sold at the yard sale, but the Telstar Northstar program is holding a clothing drive from Thursday, Aug. 4, through Sunday, Aug. 7, at the same site. The program comprises students in seventh through 12th grade.
