Jul. 102022

WATERVILLE — A workshop on “What to Expect When your Child or Teen is Grieving,” offered by Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the Hospice Community Center, 304 Main St.
Accompanying a child or teen through their grief journey can be complicated. When it comes to children and grief, many adults are left wondering “How do I support my child?” and “Is this behavior a normal way of coping?” This open discussion workshop focuses on what to expect and ways to help children and teens cope with grief. It is offered to anyone who has a grieving child or teen in their life.
The interactive workshop will be led by Hope’s Place consultant and mental health counselor Donnajean Pohlman, LCPC, and Jillian Roy, Hope’s Place coordinator.
For more information or to register, contact Roy at 207-873-3615 or jroy@hvwa.org.
