BELGRADE: Ceremony at Old Town House, Cemetery Road, 10 a.m.
HALLOWELL: Goodrich-Caldwell American Legion Post 6 ceremony, 10 a.m., north end of Hallowell Cemetery.
LEWISTON: Outdoor Memorial Day Mass, 10 a.m., St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road, celebrated by Bishop Robert Deeley, all are invited.
LIVERMORE FALLS: Outdoor Memorial Day Mass, 1 p.m., Holy Cross Cemetery, Park Street, Livermore Falls, celebrated by the Rev. Paul Dumais, (weather permitting), all are invited.
RUMFORD: Outdoor Memorial Day Mass, 8:15 a.m., St. John Cemetery, Isthmus Road, all are invited.
SIDNEY: 10 a.m. parade from Transfer Center Drive to veterans memorial next to Town Office; ceremony, followed by Boy Scout barbeque, historical society and first responders displays.
SOMERSET COUNTY: Somerset County Memorial Day ceremonies: 9 a.m. Starks Town Office; 9:30 a.m. Anson veterans monument at Anson Town Office, followed by scattering of flowers off the bridge; 10 a.m. Madison veterans monument (at library); 10:30 a.m. U.S./Canadian Monument at Forest Hills Cemetery, Park Street, Madison; 11 a.m. Joseph Quirion Veteran Monument, East Madison. Skowhegan Memorial Day parade, 10 a.m., starting at corner of Dyer Street and Madison Avenue, to Water Street, ending with ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park, Skowhegan Federated Church, 207-474-2776.
