Marie Mason joins Madison Area Health Center

MADISON – Marie Mason, physician assistant, has joined the staff at Madison Area Health Center.
Mason brings nine years of experience in family medicine and wound care. She earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of New England, and has treated patients across Central and Western Maine – providing acute, chronic, and preventative treatments for patients of all ages.
“I am excited to be back and working in the Anson and Madison area again,” Mason said.
She joins nurse practitioners JoHanna Davis and Jeanne Stokes; licensed clinical social worker Danna Lee; psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Kelly Bell Bragg; and physician Diane Zavotsky. HealthReach clinicians offer medical and behavioral health services to patients of all ages. Chenoa Jackson, licensed social worker, also is the local connector, assisting patients in accessing affordable healthcare options and other support services.
The Madison practice has served area residents and visitors from Madison and surrounding towns since 1977.
HealthReach is a private non-profit with a 45-year history, funded by patient fees, grants and by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It has 12 locations in western and central Maine, including in Bethel, Belgrade, Bingham, Albion (Lovejoy Health Center), Kingfield (Mount Abram Regional Health Center), Madison, Rangeley, Richmond, Pittsfield (Sheepscot Valley Health Center), Strong and Livermore Falls (Western Maine Health Center). In addition, an Affordable Care Program is available to both uninsured and underinsured residents. Assistance is available for applications to programs that help with the cost of health care and medication, including the Health Insurance Marketplace.
