Winslow food pantry is April Elm Plaza Hannaford bag beneficiary

WINSLOW – Winslow Community Cupboard food pantry will be the beneficiary of the “Fight Hunger” shopping bags sold at the Elm Plaza Hannaford in Waterville during April.
The bags are $2.50, and $1 for every one sold between April 1 and 30 will go to the food pantry.
The Winslow Community Cupboard serves more than 225 food-insecure families in Winslow, Waterville, and surrounding towns. Buying one of the bags is an easy way to help donate to the food pantry, which is actively seeking donations.
Winslow Community Cupboard food pantry is a ministry of Winslow Congregational Church, 12 Lithgow St. which has served the local community since 1828.
