East Madison Days will be held in July

MADISON — Activities planned for this summer’s East Madison Days celebration, hosted by the East Madison Historical Association, will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 14 to 16, at the EMHA building, 1108 East Madison Road; the East Madison Grange, Grange Road; and the East Madison fire station, 26 Weston Ave. The schedule of events:

July 14 — East Madison talent showcase featuring Bob Clement, author, and Robert Choiniere, musician, at the grange beginning at 7 p.m.

July 15 – EMHA building will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. East Madison’s own version of Antiques Roadshow will be held with Tim Pomelow as the appraiser. Bring up to two items for appraisal. Benefits go to the EMHA. $5 donation appreciated. This takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the EMHA building. A baked bean supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the grange.

July 16 – Hot dog/dynamite luncheon at East Madison fire station, with a “make-your-own ice cream sundae dessert station” celebrating National Ice Cream Day, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a surprise presentation at 12:30 p.m. The EMHA building will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
