Skowhegan gears up for its first Festival of Trees

SKOWHEGAN — The Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce and Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County are combine efforts to present Festival of Trees this holiday season, starting a tradition they hope can continue into the future.
Money raised will support hospice in providing support and compassion for those they serve and working and for the chamber to continue workforce development and assistance to the community.
The festival will be held at T&B’s Celebration Center, 414 Madison Ave. Dec. 3-5 and 10-12
Those attending can buy individual tree tickets and drop them into the bucket of their favorite tree. The tickets will be drawn and the each tree, along with its decorations, gift cards and merchandise, presented to the winners.
