Senior Planning Center team members secure certified senior advisor credentials

SKOWHEGAN — The certified senior advisor (CSA) credential applies to professionals who can demonstrate their competence and knowledge of working with older adults into their professional practices. By creating a network of qualified professionals, the Society of Certified Senior Advisors strives to create a strong and safe environment for seniors and those who work with them.
The Senior Planning Center realizes that it is important to continue to train its team since they work with seniors looking to retirement, not working or working part time, potentially collecting their Social Security and getting signed up for Medicare.
In order to secure and maintain the CSA certification, individuals are required to demonstrate a commitment to high standards, continuing education, professional ethics, and trust. This sets the CSA credential holder apart from other practitioners working with older adults.
The founder of SPC, Anthony G. Arruda, has been a certified senior advisor for many years. He is now passing this affiliation on to three of his staff members: Trisha Mosher, Crystal Kwon and Mickayla Gammon. All three have recently been certified and plan to put their newly earned knowledge to work with the clients at Senior Planning Center.
