AUGUSTA – Two local fairs kick off later this week, in Clinton and Litchfield.
The Clinton Agriculture Fair is Sept. 9 to 12 at 1450 Bangor Road, Clinton. The family oriented agriculture fair animal and mechanical pulling, midway rides and games, exhibit halls, stage entertainment and crowning of the Maine Dairy Princess.

The Litchfield Fair, is Sept. 10 to 12 at 44 Plains Roads, Litchfield.
The fair’s motto is “It’s What a Fair Should Be!” Major events are the midway, agricultural exhibits, livestock, animal pull events and a fair history museum.
