River Valley Rotary Club has busy spring

RUMFORD — The River Vally Rotary Club has had a busy spring.
In late May, the club donated $466.00 to the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition.
Club members Joe Sirois, Dick Lovejoy and Jerry Cohen presented the check to RVHCC representatives Melissa Harding, Miki Skehan, Allie Burke, Kim Sequoia, Jill Bartash and Angela Duguay.
In April, club members joined representatives from local businesses clean up on April 22 and 23 for Earth Day. Representing the club were Sirois and his wife, Ann Wood Sirois; Peter and Cheryl Cox, Dick Lovejoy, Catherine Johnson and Charlie LeDuc and his family.
In March the club welcomed Peter Wright, vice president of operations for Central Maine Healthcare and president of Rumford and Bridgton hospitals. Wright brought the club up to date on the status of COVID-19 treatment at the Rumford hospital.
