AUBURN — The Southern Maine Squadron of Sampson Air Force Base will have its next gathering Thursday, May 11, at noon at Rolandeau’s Restaurant, 715 Washington St. This is the first get together for the summer schedule.
Sampson was first a naval training center from 1942 to 1945, then Air Force basic training facility from 1950 to 1956. All veterans and their guests are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Roy Tassinari at 784-5691 or Bob Sawyer at 657-4909.
