The River Valley Rotary Club recently donated $1,200 to Med-Care Ambulance Service to help support the service’s COVID-19 vaccination program. Peggy Belanger, Rotary district governor, made the request of the club on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Belanger committed to using $600 from the district if the River Valley club would add $600 to come up with the total needed. By Wednesday, Dec. 23, all Rotary board members had endorsed the proposal, and a check was presented by the River Valley Rotary Club to Med-Care Ambulance Service on Thursday, Dec. 24, to help them in the important work they are preparing to do in vaccinating and protecting community residents.
