NEW GLOUCESTER — The annual Shaker Village Christmas Fair will be a virtual event this year — the same annual tradition in a new format. Although onsite, indoor shopping on Dec. 5 has been cancelled to ensure the health and safety of all, the Shaker Christmas Fair will begin early with several options.
Get your Shaker fruitcake, biscuits, sugared nuts, stuffed dates, Shaker-made crafts and much more from the convenience and safety of your home. Pay securely online, then pick up holiday treats at Shaker Village in a safe, no-contact manner; many of the items can also be shipped in plenty of time for holiday celebrations and gatherings.
Specialty holiday items will be available for a limited time in limited quantities. Shop the online store at maineshakers.com/shop and pick-up from a contactless pick-up tent 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 4, with extended hours, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.
