WATERVILLE — There will be a dedication ceremony for the new Peter G. Alfond Pathway to Wellness at the Alfond Youth & Community Center, 11 a.m. to noon, Friday, Oct. 16.
The dedication will be held in gymnasium 2, at the Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA at the center, 126 North St.
The dedication will include the dedication, tours and healthy snacks. Following COVID-19 regulations for indoor gatherings, no more than 50 individuals, spatially distanced and wearing masks will be admitted to the dedication.
The pathway was built thanks to a $6 million gift from the Harold Alfond Foundation and $100,000 from the Burger-Roy family. The AYCC has been able to expand the breadth and depth of services to kids and families in the Waterville area.
