Nezinscot Lodge looks to raise $500 for Turner Food Pantry

TURNER — The Nezinscot Lodge is asking area residents to help suppor the Turner Food Pantry.
In these times of self-distancing, the Lodge can not sponsor a community supper to raise the money needed for a Community Betterment Grant,m” said Marc DeBlois, of the lodge.
The lodge hopes to raise $500, which the Grand Lodge of Maine will match dollar for dollar. “This grant will enable the Turner Food Pantry to continue its good work of providing food to those families in need,” DeBlois said.
The lodge is asking anyone in a position to donate to send whatevery they can to the Turner Food Pantry.
Donors may mail their check to Beverly Leavitt, 459 Plains Road, Turner, ME 04282, made payable to the Turner Food Pantry; add Nezinscot Lodge in the memo line to ensure the matchinf dunds.
“Thanks for your help in keeping our community strong,” DeBlois said.
