State designates March as Childhood Cancer Awareness in Maine month

The Legislature’s State and Local Government Committee recently heard testimony on LD 2029, a bill to designate March as Childhood Cancer Awareness in Maine month. “The committee was so impressed by the families who testified that they took the unusual step of holding a work session on the bill immediately and passed it unanimously so that it can take effect this year,” noted bill sponsor Sen.
