MADISON — The Eunice Farnsworth-Ruth Heald Cragin National Society of the Daughters of the Revolution chapter will meet Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Old Point Facility.
Topics will be Wreaths Across America program, donating items for the Skowhegan animal shelter, sharing Christmas with members of Madison Historical Society and holding a memorial service for two members — Vanessa York of Skowhegan and Barbara Merrill of Solon.
The new administration held its first meeting at Coburn Park, Skowhegan, in June, with officers installed for three-year terms. A recent program focused on Veterans Day with a presention by Senior Chief Petty Officer Ret. David L. Miller about the origins of the five branches of the military service and their evolution over the years since the Revolutionary War.
