Waterville’s Pleasant Street UMC supper, auction is May 31

May. 272019

WATERVILLE — Pleasant Street United Methodist Church is holding a spaghetti supper and auction on Friday, May 31.
The event starts at 5 p.m. at the church fellowship hall, 61 Pleasant St., with the auction to follow.
The church, which supports more than 20 groups in the greater Waterville community including the Waterville Food Bank, the Evening Sandwich Program, the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter and Services, numerous Scout organizations, and more, is raising money to continue to fund and support all of its work in the community. The event is part of a capital campaign to make sure that the church will always be able to provide a safe sanctuary for all groups to meet.
Tickets for the supper are $8 per person, and the auction is free.
So far, the auction committee has collected a number of items ranging from antiques to tickets to a Sea Dogs game.
PSUMC is a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network, and everyone is welcome.
