WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has programs for infants through teens scheduled for the comping weeks.
All programs are free and open to the public, though some have age restrictions. The library is at 73 Elm st.
The schedule includes:
Teens may participate in Teen Game nights, held 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays. The library has a number of board games, and participants are welcome to bring their own age-appropriate games to share. Game night is free and open to those ages 11-18.
Crafternoons for kids are held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. every Tuesday. There is a different craft every week. April’s crafts include Spring Mini-Kites April 23 and Caterpillar Craft April 30. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a grown-up helper.
Homeschool Hub is 1:30 to 2:30 p.m on Thursday and features games, crafts, speakers and more. There are activities in the children’s department for attendees in first through sixth grade and one in the Bartlett Room for Teens for those in sixth through 12th grade, and actitivies change every week. There is no Homeschool Hub on April 25.
Teens may also attend Teen Movie Night from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays in the Bartlett Room for Teens. Movie nights are free, and open to attendees ages 11-18. Light refreshments are provided.
Babies and toddlers can join in the fun at Rymtime on Fridays, where they can sing, clap and share stories with their grownups. The program is for children from birth to age 3 and is from 10:30 to 11 a.m. It’s free and open to the public. The theme on April 26 is rain.
Satur-play, a Saturday afternoon children’s program that involves games, making things, telling stories, and meeting new people (and maybe furry visitors, too), is held from 1 to 2 p.m. April’s offerings include Legos April 20 and Love on a Leash April 27.
Code Camp is free, and held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturdays, where kids ages 9 to 14 can learn how Minecraft, iPads, and Google are made.
