Mar. 62017

RUMFORD — The staff at Rumford Hospital and Swift River Family Medicine wore blue March 3 to raise awareness for colorectal cancer and to remind the River Valley that the disease can be prevented with regular screenings, according to a news release from Central Maine Healthcare.

The effort was part of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. The release urged patients to speak with their health care provider about scheduling a colonoscopy.
