WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has lots of activities for both kids and teens at the library for the month of February.
All programs are free; some have age restrictions.
Camp Code, Camp Code, from 1:30 to 3:30 Saturdays in the Colby Program Room is for those 9 to 13. Participants will learn how to turn your ideas into reality, with languages like Python and Scratch, for both the experienced and those new to tech.
Satur-Play!, Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Children’s Department, will have Legos on Feb. 16 and a visit from Love on a Leash Feb. 23.
Teen Game Night, for ages 11 to 18, is 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays, features Dungeons & Dragons on the first and third Monday so the month. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own dice if possible, but some extras will be provided.
The Homeschool Hub is 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays. There will be an activity in the children’s department for those in first through fifth grade, and an activity in the Bartlett Room for those sixth through 12th grade.
This month, on Feb. 21, it’s Legos for the younger kids and board games for teens; on Feb. 28, there will be a winter art activity for the younger kids and STEM challenge for teens.
