WATERVILLE — A group of Waterville-area education representatives will discuss the recent investment by local colleges into the region’s economy at the next Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Series meeting, on Thursday, March 9.
The panel for “Education, Economics, and Our Community,” will include Laurie Lachance, president of Thomas College; Rick Hopper, president of Kennebec Valley Community College; and Ruth Jackson, vice president of of communications of Colby College. The meeting is 7:15-9 a.m. in the Summit Room of the Thomas College Spann Student Commons.
