BRUNSWICK — Teens To Trails — T3 — recently announced its 10th year of support for Maine high school Outing Club programs through the Grants-To-Clubs Program.
Several of the 12 awards of up to $500 were to central and western Maine clubs.
Through the grants, T3 assures that teens have more outdoor hours with their peers. The Grants-To-Clubs Program is open to any high school Outing Club in Maine.
Money is used to cover transportation, outdoor gear, or safety and skills training for leaders. Grants are awarded up to $500. The total was $5,000. Through Teens to Trails, Maine teens experience the out-of-doors through a variety of programs that promote and support high school outing clubs. Its goal is to support the development of as many sustainable outing clubs across the state as possible.

Carrabec High School, North Anson; Lewiston High School; Messalonskee High School, Oakland; Madison High School; Cony High School, Augusta; Maranacook Community High School, Readfield; Maine Arts Academy, Sidney; Medomak Valley High School, Waldoboro; Mountain Valley High School, Rumford; Sacopee Valley High School, Hiram; Spruce Mountain High School, Jay; and Old Orchard Beach High School, .
