I am proud to say I have never been in politics before. I come to politics as a citizen candidate who is running because I am frustrated with the reasons that our government continues to decline in its approval ratings.
We see state shutdowns, personal character attacks, disrespectful name calling, deception, citizen elected referendums getting blocked, lobbyists writing their own laws that go against the majority of citizens, wasteful spending, career politicians, too much money in politics and the list goes on and on.
I am a business owner of 20+ years an educator in our public school systems for 15 years. I know how to create jobs. I know what burden high taxes can be. I know what it is like to feel like our politicians are ignoring their people. I bring with me many fresh new approaches and out of the box ideas on common sense solutions to our political systems pollutions.
I can tell you one thing. If elected I will always represent my people. Businesses, farmers, hunters, Vets, first responders, students, elderly, LGBT… I will always listen to your concerns, no matter if you voted for me or not and regardless if my beliefs differ from yours. My job is to present your voice on the senate floor in Augusta and I will take great pride in doing exactly that if elected.
