BETHEL — SeniorsPlus will be holding a class on Medicare Basics from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Bethel Adult Education at Telstar High School, 284 Walkers Mill Road.

Are you approaching Medicare eligibility? Do you know that Medicare has timelines and deadlines to apply, even if you’re still working and even if you’re not eligible for Social Security? Do you know the difference between original Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medigap Supplement?

SeniorsPlus, the local aging and disability resource center, provides an easy to understand basics class of Medicare from Part A to D. The class will assist you in identifying the best coverage for your needs while helping you save money. Find out what Medicare covers, when to apply, how to avoid penalties for late enrollment, options available to you and much more.
