When Ricardo and Lydia Pontes first started their business working on boats the goal was simple: customer service that was good, fair and honest. Tired of seeing friends and family being taken advantage of they realized the best thing they could do to prevent it from happening over and over was to go into business themselves. Fourteen years later, not only are they still going, but they’re going strong.

For six years, they focused on the transportation, repair and sale of boats, building a strong, loyal clientele — something you get when you offer a quality product with service to match — so expanding the business came easy to them.
